Le Moteur marin 3516B comprend un système de gestion de moteur diesel évoluée version II (AdvancedDiesel Engine Management II), un système de protection, de surveillance et de commande, un module de communication client, et un régulateurde tension numérique. Ce moteur marin présente l'avantage de permettre une plus grande économie de carburant, de réduire les émissions gazeuses et visibles, d'élargir les fonctionnalités de diagnostic et de surveillance et d'offrir une plus grande puissance nominale tout en conservant sa fiabilité.
